Local tips for Los Angeles
Metro K Line is your best route to the stadium
Take the Metro K Line (Crenshaw/LAX) to Hawthorne/Lennox or Crenshaw stations then board the free match day shuttle to SoFi. This is the only reliable way to avoid the gridlock around the stadium. Leave 2.5 to 3 hours before kickoff.
LA traffic is notorious — plan ahead
Los Angeles traffic is some of the worst in the world. On match days roads around SoFi Stadium are closed to non-residents. Do not attempt to drive. Pre-book parking if you must via ParkWhiz but expect very long delays.
Weather is warm but not extreme
LA in June and July is warm and sunny at around 25-30°C. SoFi Stadium has a partial roof cover but most of the open areas outside are exposed. Bring sunscreen and water.
Fan Festival at LA Memorial Coliseum
The official FIFA Fan Festival is at the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Exposition Park. Live match broadcasts, concerts and food. Accessible via Metro E Line. Fan zones also at Venice Beach, Burbank, Union Station and West Harbor.
